Baseball Recap: West Brunswick Takes a Loss

West Brunswick lost to New Hanover back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans fell 8-5 to the Wildcats.

West Brunswick's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for New Hanover, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

West Brunswick and New Hanover should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Trojans will take on West Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (100 vs. 379). Meanwhile, New Hanover (ranked 24th) will meet West Carteret (ranked 166th) at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
