Southside won the last time they faced Glencoe and things went their way on Saturday too. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Yellowjackets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Southside easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16.

Southside's win bumped their record up to 17-12. As for Glencoe, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 23-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southside will host Etowah at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Glencoe, they will challenge Ohatchee at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
