Basketball Recap: Woodward Takes a Loss

Woodward was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the East Bay Indians, falling 68-18.

East Bay got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kyree Williams out in front who went 5 of 9 on his way to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicholas Ghent, who posted 13 points.

Woodward's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for East Bay, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-5 record.

Woodward wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 71-56 loss against Steinbrenner on the 23rd. As for East Bay, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-53 defeat against McLean on the 23rd.
