Football Game Preview: Northwood-Kensett vs. North Iowa

If the MaxPreps national rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Northwood-Kensett. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against North Iowa at 7:00 PM. Northwood-Kensett have bulldozed their previous three opponents, so North Iowa might have their hands full.

Last week, Northwood-Kensett were putting the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They made easy work of Dunkerton and carried off a 42-8 win.

Meanwhile, if North Iowa were riding high off their 34-0 takedown of Clay Central-Everly two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. North Iowa might be aching after a bruising 8-30 defeat to Tripoli.

Northwood-Kensett's victory lifted them to 3-0 while North Iowa's loss dropped them down to 1-2. We'll find out if Northwood-Kensett can add another positive mark to their record or if North Iowa can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Northwood-Kensett's step.
