The Stagg Delta Kings will head out to take on the Franklin Yellowjackets at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Stagg is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

Stagg's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Edison by a score of 5-0. The Delta Kings haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Aerie Garcia was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. Garcia was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Rachael Symoungkhoune was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Alexus Short, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Franklin's offense. They came up short against Chavez on Tuesday, falling 22-0. The Yellowjackets have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Stagg's record is now 7-2. As for Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Everything went Stagg's way against Franklin in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Stagg made off with a 22-0 win. Does Stagg have another victory up their sleeve, or will Franklin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
