Tracy took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Kimball, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bulldogs won by a set and slipped past the Jaguars 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since April 24, 2024.

Tracy was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 21-25, 14-25, 25-10, 15-6.

Nicolas Hidalgo paced Tracy's offense, picking up 15 kills. Hidalgo got some help from Antonio Velarde and his 22 assists. Finally, Karanvir Purewal kept Tracy's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.

Tracy's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Kimball, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
