Basketball Recap: Clifton Piles Up the Points Against Harmony School of Innovation

Clifton came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They really took it to Harmony School of Innovation for the full four quarters, racking up a 76-7 win. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-1.

Clifton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ray Ochoa, who posted 14 points. Kyle Rogers was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Clifton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points per game. As for Harmony School of Innovation, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Clifton will look to defend their home court on Friday against West at 7:30 p.m. West knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Clifton likes a good challenge. As for Harmony School of Innovation, they will take on Troy at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
