Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Gus Stout and Kole Hermann Lead Kadoka to Victory

Kadoka waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Highmore/Harrold Pirates with points to spare, taking the game 56-42.

Kadoka was led to victory by Kole Hermann and Gus Stout. Hermann shot 4-for-7 from beyond the arc and almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine boards, while Stout went 6 of 11 en route to 18 points. Hermann's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Karson Eisenbraun, who posted two points in addition to five rebounds, five blocks, and three steals.

Kadoka's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Highmore/Harrold, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kadoka will welcome New Underwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kadoka is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.4 points per game this season. As for Highmore/Harrold, they will face off against Hitchcock-Tulare at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Highmore/Harrold is facing Hitchcock-Tulare at the right time seeing as Hitchcock-Tulare is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
