Basketball Recap: Randolph-Henry Takes a Loss

Randolph-Henry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the William Campbell Generals and fell 58-21. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Statesmen of the 52-20 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Randolph-Henry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for William Campbell, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Randolph-Henry will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rustburg at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. William Campbell also won't see the court for a while: their next match is against Randolph-Henry at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
