Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Saints vs. Sheridan Rams
Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sheridan Rams. The Saints were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
While Jefferson ultimately came up short, they really made Sheridan work, particularly in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16, 18-25, 29-27.
Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Sheridan, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson will head out to face off against The Pinnacle at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Jefferson is facing The Pinnacle at the right time seeing as The Pinnacle is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Sheridan, they will venture away from home to take on Platte Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
