Volleyball Game Preview: Center Grove Trojans vs. Monrovia Bulldogs

The Center Grove Trojans will face off against the Monrovia Bulldogs at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Center Grove is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past Decatur Central 3-0. The win was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on three straight.

Meanwhile, Monrovia entered their tilt with Mooresville on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Pioneers with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Monrovia's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Center Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 22-8-1.

Everything went Center Grove's way against Monrovia in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Center Grove made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
