Football Recap: Highland Comes Up Short at Home Against Morton/White Pass

Highland unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by the Morton/White Pass Timberwolves and fell 53-7. The Scots have struggled against the Timberwolves recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Morton/White Pass' win on Monday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kohen Ingalsbe, who rushed for 222 yards and three scores on only 12 carries. Ingalsbe's longest rush was for an impressive 52 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Liam Pelletier was in the mix as well, providing Morton/White Pass with two touchdowns.

Highland didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 30-7 defeat against Granger on the 13th. As for Morton/White Pass, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 51-0 victory against White Swan on the 12th.
