Volleyball Recap: Matthew Longacre and Tharyar San Secure Win for Waltham

Waltham hadn't done well against Lincoln-Sudbury recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Hawks put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Hawks were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Warriors, so the Hawks were just returning the favor.

The win didn't come easy: Lincoln-Sudbury scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-23, 26-24, 25-20.

Leading Waltham to victory were Tharyar San and Matthew Longacre. San had 13 assists and seven digs, while Longacre had 14 assists and four digs. That's the most digs San has posted over his last eight contests. Paul Shin was another key player, getting eight digs and four assists.
