Soccer Recap: East River Comes Up Short

East River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the Lake Buena Vista Vipers. Considering the last time the Falcons couldn't score was back in November, the team can't take the result too hard.

East River's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Lake Buena Vista, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-4-1 record this season.

East River didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-0 loss against Timber Creek on the 16th. As for Lake Buena Vista, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-2 draw against University on the 17th.
