Baseball Game Preview: Magee Trojans vs. Terry Bulldogs

The Magee Trojans are taking a road trip to take on the Terry Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Magee didn't have quite enough to beat North Forrest and fell 5-4. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Timothy Craft made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonte Lee, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, while Terry put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Crystal Springs. Terry blew past Crystal Springs 13-0. The Bulldogs' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Charlie Davis was a standout: he scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-1. Colin Herbert was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Terry always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .593. The last time their OBP was this high was back in February of 2024.

The win got Terry back to even at 2-2. As for Magee, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
