Volleyball Recap: Woodlake Tigers vs. Corcoran Panthers
It was a proper cat-fight when Woodlake faced off against Corcoran on Tuesday. The Tigers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 2-1.
The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 18-25, 25-22, 25-23.
Jayla Karplus paced Woodlake's offense, picking up ten kills. Karplus got some help from Audrey Das and her 18 assists. Mattison Morales controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Woodlake's loss ended a seven-match streak of away wins and brought them to 18-14-1. As for Corcoran, they moved to 10-16-3 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.
