Softball Recap: Trinity Tigers vs. Hackley Hornets

Monday just wasn't the day for Trinity's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hackley Hornets on Monday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Trinity in their matchups with Hackley: they've now lost three in a row.

For Hackley's part, Andrea Hegarty was a major factor no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 18 over seven innings pitched. Hegarty has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't pitched less than five innings every time she's pitched this season.
