Volleyball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Conway

Conway came tearing into Thursday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Christian Academy Saints. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Saints, too.

Conway not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Christian Academy between 15 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16, 25-17.

Julia Hagen paced Conway's offense, picking up seven kills. Hagen were helped by Kiley Townsend and Madeline Green, who contributed ten assists each. Green was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Conway's victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Conway will host South Florence at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christian Academy, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Southeastern Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
