Broaddus proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 23) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Kennard Tigers 69-66. The victory was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Leading Broaddus to victory were Colton Modisette and Ace Williams. Modisette went 10 for 16 on his way to 24 points, while Williams went 6 of 8 en route to 12 points along with five assists and three steals. The contest was Modisette's third in a row with at least ten points. Kingston Sanders was another key player, putting up nine points and five boards.

Broaddus is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points per game. As for Kennard, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 19-7 record this season.

Broaddus will be playing in front of their home fans against Wells at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Broaddus is on a six-game streak of home wins, Wells a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Kennard, they will venture away from home to square off against Zavalla at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
