Volleyball Recap: George Walton Academy Comes Up Short

George Walton Academy had lost nine straight at home dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped down to 5-9 to make it ten. They lost 3-0 to the Bethlehem Christian Academy Knights. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Knights from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

As for Bethlehem Christian Academy, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-6. They not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since August 5th (when they won 3-0).

Bethlehem Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Michelle Brumley out in front who had 11 digs and two aces.

George Walton Academy has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Mount Vernon on the 28th. As for Bethlehem Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Monroe Area on the 26th.
