Hayden strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Heritage Christian Academy Chargers by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hayden took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-14.

Mallory Tanking paced Hayden's offense, picking up seven kills. Tanking got some help from Blakely Walter and her 20 assists. Reese Huscher controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Hayden's win bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6-3.

Hayden didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Gardner-Edgerton on the 13th. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Eudora on the 13th.
