Recap: Shawnee vs. Guthrie
The Shawnee Wolves fell victim to the Guthrie Bluejays's stalwart defense on Tuesday and couldn't make it onto the board. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 4-0 walloping at the hands of the Bluejays. Shawnee has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Shawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Guthrie, they pushed their record up to 4-2-2 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
Shawnee will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ada at 7:30 p.m. on April 5th. As for Guthrie, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lawton at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Lawton's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
