After a string of four wins, Silverton's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 67-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Albany Bulldogs. The Foxes were probably out for revenge after losing 69-46 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Silverton's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3. As for West Albany, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Silverton will take on Corvallis at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Silverton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games. As for West Albany, they will host South Albany at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Albany has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
