Baseball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Picks Up Sixth Straight Win on the Road

After only one run in their last matchup, Calvary Christian Academy made sure to put some runs up on the board against Valley Forge Military Academy on Wednesday. The Cougars blew past the Trojans 18-1. Considering the Cougars have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jesse Egan and Levi Salmon did most of the damage at the plate: Egan got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while Salmon went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. Egan is becoming a predictor of Calvary Christian Academy's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 5-8 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Wilson, who earned two runs and three stolen bases.
