Baseball Recap: Centennial Gets the Win

On Monday, the Centennial Titans were able to grind out a solid victory over the Pottsboro Cardinals, taking the game 7-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Ethan Vongvivitpatana looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March of 2024.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Hayden O, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Nico Baltieri, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Centennial will be playing in front of their home fans against Braswell at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pottsboro, they will head out to face off against Bonham at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
