Basketball Game Recap: Turlock Christian Eagles vs. Denair Coyotes

The Turlock Christian Eagles were the 84-29 winner over the Denair Coyotes when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Turlock Christian fell 61-53 to Denair on Thursday. Turlock Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Koby Cervantes had an outrageously good game for Denair as he dropped a double-double on 31 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Cervantes has scored at least 25% of Denair's points. Another player making a difference was Valente Rosales, who scored 10 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds.

Turlock Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Denair, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.

Turlock Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Vanguard College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on December 13th. As for Denair, they will head out on the road to face off against Sacramento Adventist at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
