Faith Christian had already won 20 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.4 points) and they went ahead and made it 21 on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 53-12 win over the Galesburg Christian Lions. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matches by 24 points or more this season.

Faith Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chloe Mennen, who went 6 of 7 on her way to 12 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Mennen continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gwen Hodson, who went 5 for 10 en route to 11 points and three steals.

Faith Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Galesburg Christian only posted four assists.

Payton Dowell and Baylie Mayfield certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Dowell posted four points and six boards, while Mayfield scored five points. Another player making a difference was Maggie Mason, who had no points along with six steals and five rebounds.

Faith Christian pushed their record up to 26-2 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.8 points per game. As for Galesburg Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Faith Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-28 victory against Morning Star Academy on the 3rd. Galesburg Christian has also already played their next match (against Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
