Volleyball Game Preview: Saxony Lutheran Crusaders vs. Father McGivney Catholic Griffins

The Saxony Lutheran Crusaders are taking a road trip to take on the Father McGivney Catholic Griffins at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Saxony Lutheran will be strutting in after a victory while Father McGivney Catholic will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, Saxony Lutheran beat Lutheran 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

While Saxony Lutheran won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Father McGivney Catholic came up short against Maryville Christian on Thursday and fell 2-0. The Griffins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-15.

Saxony Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Father McGivney Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-14.

Saxony Lutheran was able to grind out a solid victory over Father McGivney Catholic in their previous meeting back in March, winning 2-0. Will the Crusaders repeat their success, or do the Griffins have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
