Soccer Recap: Keene Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Willsboro Central on Friday, Keene Central came back down to earth. The Beavers fell just short of the Plattsburgh Hornets by a score of 4-3 on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Keene Central of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Wyatt Martin and Brody Harrell scored all three of Keene Central's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Keene Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Plattsburgh, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Keene Central is set to face off against their familiar foe Schroon Lake at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Plattsburgh will challenge rival Peru at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give Plattsburgh their first taste of in-conference action this season.
