Volleyball Recap: Eden Christian Academy Finds Playoff Glory Versus Serra Catholic

Eden Christian Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Serra Catholic Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. The win was nothing new for Eden Christian Academy as they're now sitting on six straight.

Ainsley Chevalier was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had ten digs and four aces.

Chevalier wasn't the only good servers: Eden Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 25 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Eden Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Serra Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Looking ahead, Eden Christian Academy will take on Clarion Area at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Serra Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
