Football Recap: Doss Takes a Loss

Doss was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the North Oldham Mustangs and fell 60-6.

Doss' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for North Oldham, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Doss will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Waggener at 7:30 p.m. on October 10. As for North Oldham, they will venture away from home to square off against Breckinridge County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs will be up against the Fighting Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.67 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
