Parkview Baptist had already won nine in a row and they went ahead and made it ten on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mt. Carmel Cubs. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Cubs back in September, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Parkview Baptist had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-18, 26-24, 25-17.

Emma Palermo and Kyleigh Smith certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Palermo had 17 digs, while Smith had ten digs. Palermo has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Parkview Baptist's win bumped their record up to 22-10. As for Mt. Carmel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 34-5.

Parkview Baptist does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mt. Carmel, they will venture away from home to square off against Chalmette at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
