Volleyball Recap: Grove City Takes a Loss

Grove City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Erie First Christian Academy. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against Erie First Christian Academy this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss on Saturday.

Leiara Ferguson paced Grove City's offense, picking up three kills. Ferguson got some help from Aubrey Schmidt and her three assists.

Grove City's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Erie First Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3-2 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Erie First Christian Academy beat Grove City by a score of 2-0 later that day.
