Softball Recap: Paris Takes a Loss

Paris fell victim to Robinson and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Maroons. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Emma Kraemer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on seven hits.

Paris has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season. As for Robinson, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-12.

Looking ahead, Paris will welcome Lawrenceville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Robinson, they will face off against Teutopolis at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
