Volleyball Recap: Durango Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Durango can now relate to. They came up short against the Liberty Patriots on Monday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in April.

Durango took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-19, 25-23.

Miguel Villa Tovar paced Durango's offense, picking up seven kills. Villa Tovar got some help from James Carl Serrano and his 22 assists.
