Tri-Valley never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They skirted past the Pottsville Crimson Tide 1-0. The one-run effort marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Tri-Valley has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Pottsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.

Looking ahead, Tri-Valley will take on Tamaqua at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Raiders will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pottsville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Panther Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Crimson Tide are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
