Softball Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

Springfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 35th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the North Eugene Highlanders. The Millers were not able to make up for their loss to the Highlanders from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-18. As for North Eugene, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-12.

While Springfield had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
