Soccer Game Preview: Northside vs. Thomas County Central + Official Tickets

The Northside Patriots will take on the Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

Thomas County Central will be up against a hot Northside team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Patriots came out on top against Trinity Christian by a score of 4-2 on Monday.

Northside hit the Lions with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Amelia Poindexter (2), Jenny Barragan, and Brianna Zanders.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Thomas County Central). They never let Cairo get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Tuesday. Thomas County Central haven't had any issues with Cairo recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The victory got Thomas County Central back to even at 7-7. As for Northside, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.
