Basketball Recap: Friday's Defeat Ends Madison's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Madison unfortunately witnessed the end of their 13-game winning streak on Friday. They had to suffer through a 71-26 loss at the hands of the Carroll Bulldogs. The Jaguars were red-hot offensively headed into the matchup (they scored no less than 55 points in the 13 games prior) but the Bulldogs' defense proved too tough.

Madison's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-5. As for Carroll, the win got them back to even at 13-13.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Madison Jaguars take on the Lincoln Prep Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carroll has already played their next contest, a 61-58 victory against Liberty on the 3rd.
