Lincoln Southwest is a perfect 10-0 against Lincoln Northeast since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Silver Hawks are taking a road trip to challenge the Rockets at 5:00 p.m. Lincoln Southwest's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Lincoln Northeast's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Lincoln Southwest will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Thursday, then bounced right back against Columbus on Monday. The Silver Hawks were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Discoverers. Cam Rakowsky had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Lincoln Southwest.

Meanwhile, Lincoln Northeast's game on Monday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They came up short against Grand Island, falling 4-1.

Lincoln Southwest's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three contests. As for Lincoln Northeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Lincoln Southwest took their victory against Lincoln Northeast when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Silver Hawks since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
