Basketball Game Preview: Toppenish Wildcats vs. Prosser Mustangs

Toppenish hasn't had much luck against Prosser recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Toppenish Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Prosser Mustangs at 5:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Toppenish came up short against King's and fell 48-41.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Prosser, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They really took it to East Valley for the full four quarters, racking up a 71-14 victory. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 23 points or more this season.

Prosser has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 47.1 points. As for Toppenish, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.

Toppenish suffered a grim 63-39 defeat to Prosser in their previous meeting on January 3rd. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Toppenish was down 35-13.
