Northville had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37.8 points) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Friday. They put the hurt on the Mayfield Panthers with a sharp 60-37 win. The Falcons pushed the score to 55-31 by the end of the third, a deficit the Panthers cut but never quite recovered from.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jamie Danforth, who posted nine points and five boards. Madison Case was another key player, putting up five points.

Northville pushed their record up to 17-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home. As for Mayfield, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northville will welcome Cobleskill-Richmondville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northville's defense has only allowed 24.9 points per game this season, so Cobleskill-Richmondville's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Mayfield, they will host Duanesburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
