Basketball Game Preview: Pine Grove Panthers vs. Myrtle Hawks

The Pine Grove Panthers will square off against the Myrtle Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Pine Grove took on Belmont on Friday. Pine Grove was outmatched by Belmont and fell 54-19. The Panthers have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Myrtle came into Friday's contest having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past Hickory Flat with a 46-42 victory on Friday.

Pine Grove's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-12. As for Myrtle, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-16.

Pine Grove strolled past Myrtle when the teams last played back in January by a score of 40-25. Does Pine Grove have another victory up their sleeve, or will Myrtle turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
