Volleyball Recap: Cajon Takes a Loss

Cajon lost against Beaumont back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cowboys fell 3-1 to the Cougars. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-18, 23-25, 25-15.

Annalisia Garcia paced Cajon's offense, picking up seven kills. Garcia got some help from Sayra Corona and her 18 assists. Finally, Fern Udell kept Cajon's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Cajon now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Beaumont, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cajon is set to face off against their familiar foe Redlands East Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Beaumont will square off against rival Yucaipa at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
