Football Recap: Amity Takes a Loss

After flying high against Newport last Friday, Amity came back down to earth. The Warriors took a 24-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blanchet Catholic Cavaliers on Friday.

Amity has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. Blanchet Catholic's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Amity is set to face off against their familiar foe Taft at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Blanchet Catholic will take on rival Salem Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
