Basketball Recap: Locust Grove Comes Up Short

Locust Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Ola Mustangs, falling 49-14. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 450th, while the Mustangs are ranked 178th).

Locust Grove's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Ola, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Locust Grove and Eagle's Landing Christian Academy will face off at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Ola, they will have a chance to keep the ball rolling against McDonough at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday following yesterday's win.
