Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Willow Springs). They put the hurt on the Cabool Bulldogs with a sharp 14-2 victory on Monday. While the Bears didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Willow Springs pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cabool, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.
