Volleyball Game Preview: Ryle Raiders vs. Henry Clay Blue Devils

The Ryle Raiders will take on the Henry Clay Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Ryle is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Kentucky's top teams: Calvary Christian, who was ranked 24th at the time (Ryle was ranked fourth). The Raiders had just enough and edged out the Cougars 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Henry Clay made easy work of Marion County on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Henry Clay took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12, 25-9.

Ryle pushed their record up to 16-2-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Henry Clay, their win bumped their record up to 16-7.
