Volleyball Recap: Shawe Memorial Takes a Loss

Shawe Memorial was the 3-0 winner over Milan when they last played one another back in September of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Hilltoppers lost 3-0 to the Indians on Wednesday. The Hilltoppers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-19, 25-9.

Shawe Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Milan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Shawe Memorial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Medora on the 26th. As for Milan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Oldenburg Academy on the 25th.
