The Capital City Public Charter School EAGLES will venture away from home to take on E.L. Haynes at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Capital City Public Charter School will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.

Capital City Public Charter School is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of District of Columbia's top teams: Friendship Collegiate Academy, who was ranked 24th at the time (Capital City Public Charter School was ranked 11th). The EAGLES came out on top against the Knights by a score of 2-0 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, E.L. Haynes didn't have quite enough to beat Field on Thursday and fell 3-2. E.L. Haynes has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

E.L. Haynes took Field into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 19-25, 13-25, 25-15, 15-9.

E.L. Haynes' defeat dropped their record down to 18-4. As for Capital City Public Charter School, their win bumped their record up to 13-2.
